Quality is the cornerstone of B2B textile sourcing. At Fab-Ezy®, our fabric inspection and testing operations ensure that every shipment conforms to international garment export standards. We implement testing at every layer: from greige knit inspection to final roll packaging checks.

Our in-house laboratory is equipped with digital GSM cutters, ISO wash-fastness units, color matching booths, and crockmeters. This allows us to issue certified fabric test reports with each bulk delivery lot, assuring buyers of absolute shade and structural matching.

ASTM D5430 Quality Standard

Used for evaluating and grading finished knitted fabric roll quality. Defects are visually audited under standardized lighting parameters.

Acceptable Quality Limit (AQL)

Maximum 20 points per 100 square yards. Fabric exceeding this threshold is flagged and rejected at the inspection line.

Inspection Standard

ASTM D5430 4-Point System

For finished fabric rolls, we enforce the internationally recognized 4-Point System for defect grading. The system assigns penalty points based on defect length or size:

1 Penalty Point: Defect length up to 3 inches (e.g. small slubs, yarn knots).
2 Penalty Points: Defect length between 3 and 6 inches.
3 Penalty Points: Defect length between 6 and 9 inches (e.g. continuous drop stitches).
4 Penalty Points: Defect length greater than 9 inches or large holes.

Acceptance threshold: Less than 20 penalty points per 100 square yards of fabric. Rolls exceeding this limit are automatically rejected at the inspection table.
